I wanna get high, but I never could take the pain
'Cause it would blow away my soul like a hurricane
I'm like a one man band clapping in the pouring rain
If I know where I'm going, I don't know from where I came

Where we gonna be in summertime?
And are we gonna see the heavens shine
Like diamonds in the sky?

As soon as they come
The feelings they go
All alone, on a one way road

I wanna get high, but I really can't take the pain
'Cause it will blow away my soul like a hurricane
I'm like a one man band clapping in the pouring rain
If I know where I'm going, I don't know from where I came

Where we gonna be in summertime?
And are we gonna see the heavens shine
Like diamonds in the sky?

As soon as they come
The feelings they go
All alone, on a one way road

I'm on my time with everyone
I have very bad posture

Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
Distill the life that's inside of me
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
I'm anemic royalty

Give me a Leonard Cohen afterworld
So I can sigh eternally

I'm so tired I can't sleep
I'm anemic royalty
I'm a liar and a thief
I'm anemic royalty

I'm on warm milk and laxatives
Cherry-flavored antacids

Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
Distill the life that's inside of me
I'm anemic royalty
I'm anemic royalty
Hi kids! Hope all you Montana people are enjoying your summer. Everyone here is still in school, so it's seriously been limiting our party-time...well, their's anyway. Right Lindsey? It's been pretty weird so far, I always associated the word "summer" with "boyfriend", and now there's no boyfriend part! Hmm, gonna have to revamp my definition of "summer" :).
It's definitely turning out to be Pink Floyd weather (Pink Floyd is best enjoyed on balmy summer nights), which is making me VERY happy. It's the one thing that's been missing all year, and now I can finally enjoy it for all of my FIVE MONTHS OF SUMMER VACATION! Hells yeah baby, this is going to kick some ass. Partially because I'll probably want to go back to school by the time it's over (a plus for my not-so-high academic drive), but that I also have sooo long to do whatever the hell I want.
I'm living with my parents this summer, which is good because I'll be able to make some cash for next year really easily, and I know about three people that want me to house sit this summer. One of them has a horse on their property that they want me to ride while I watch their house...yeah, they're really gonna have to twist my arm on that one. Dang. That really sucks. But I'm also really looking forward to moving in with two of my friends in the fall. Our apartment is gonna rock! Anyway, I'm off to bed...I just thought I'd babble for a while so you'd know I was still alive. Whoever I left in Montana: "I MISS YOU!!" and a special note to Marguerite: YOU LEFT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE TO ME! Which means you owe me a cowboy cock sucker at Stocks when I come visit you next year. :)
Have a good night.

Well, I finally made it home. It was a crazy drive down here though (some of you might know what I'm talking about specifically). Anyway, I miss all you Montana people terribly and I hope you guys have an awsome summer! Stay in touch!

So this is it, my last weekend in Montana. I can't believe I'm done with my freshmen year of college. Damn. Tonight it's off to the compound to take a few last shots, a few last pictures, and create a few last memories.
I love you all, take care.

So I decided that since it's pretty much my last weekend up here, I'd go out with Marguerite and the girls to Maggot Fest 2002 and party a little. OH MY GOD. Marguerite, your warning of "Oh, wear crappy clothes 'cause you might get hit with some beer" is probably the understatement of the century. Let me explain.
Maggot Fest is a huge weekend party consisting of a bunch of Rugby teams from all over the US and Canada that come down and play in a giant tourny all weekend and then party it up at night. The party part was the only thing I happened to go to, but I think I've exceeded my maximum dosage of Maggot Fest for a while.
We showed up at the fairgrounds, where the security checked our ID's and sold us our cups and then let us inside to this huge covered area where a cover band and about 500 people were crammed in like sardines along with about 160 kegs. Anyway, most of the Rugby teams were there, all dressed in different themes (i.e. Clowns, Hawaiian boys [too bad none of them were cute enough to walk around with their shirts off] and of course the unforgettable group of about 12 grown men dressed up in pink bunny suits) and then most of Missoula showed up to help celebrate Maggot Fest's tradition of chucking full cups of beer over the crowd, or getting into individual beer fights. I managed to avoid most of the flying alcohol for a while, until I was standing in line for the keg when this guy comes up behind me, makes a remark about how my cup is empty (duh, not like I'm in line to fill it or anything) and then proceeds to dump his full beer on top of my head rather than in my empty cup. *Sigh*
Besides the fact that I now had to walk around cold, wet, and sticky, the night wasn't all that bad. I had to kiss this sorta cute guy in order to get my beer cup back, and Jaqueline and I got some pretty good pictures with the naked man (apparently he was either very self assured, or very very drunk).
After that, Kristie, Jaqueline and I decided we'd had enough of dodging the flying beer cups so we headed out and left Marguerite and Gail to fend for themselves. Sorry girls, hope you had a good time anyway. :)

I saw you again tonight.
Not in my dreams, or in my memories.
I can only see you in those if I don't look at you directly...
But I saw you tonight.
Next door,
My door,
Wrong state, time, reality.
But in his blue eyes I saw you...
And all I had to do,
Was look right at you.

I gave up on you.
And your exercise
And the world that I knew
Then, I fell back on you.
Cause I need more time
And I need an excuse

I'm a thief, a liar
An angel in the fire
I'm a king, a drug
The push that comes to shove
I'm a freak, a star
I'm everything you are
I'm your jesus, I'm your pride

We're made to heal..

I depend on you
For the wings of life
And the air that you move
And I defended you
For this one last time
For the nerves you abuse.

I'm a thief, a liar
An angel in the fire
I'm a king, a drug
The push that comes to shove
I'm a freak, a star
I'm everything you are
I'm your jesus, I'm your pride

We're made to heal..
